I have always wanted to stop here & I'm so glad we finally did! If you have a few minutes to spare, stop in for some tastes & shopping. So many different brews on tap!
I love the fact that those who are not interested in alcohol but love those who are can be entertaining in this brewery gift shop by the plethora of vintage and current candy, myriad flavors of taffy,... read more »
This is still one of our favorite local places to come for dinner. It is a room with a view. Finally we have white tablecloths good value, fair prices, very good food, and excellent service. Need I sa... read more »
Califonia's #457 Landmark; an honestly random brewery in the desert, but a great brewery nonetheless. Host was super friendly and the beer was tasty. They have a cool deal where you can buy a small 3-4 fl oz souvenir glass for $3, refill it for only $1, and then bring it back anytime you're driving through and refill it for that $1 price. Same rule applies for their other souvenir glass but with different prices. Overall: a great pit stop to take a break and taste some unique and delicious brew.
We visited this place for the first time on January 23, 2016 and we will do it again. The steak, Diamond Jim, was perfect. The beer I had was also perfect, even though it is imported from Mexico I think. The server, Marie, was the best we have had in years. The staff was friendly, quick, efficient. I would, however, like to see an area setup just for RV's to overnight on our way North. We would stop there frequently on our way to Bishop, Mammoth, Lake Tahoe, just to eat but our motor home just will not work out in their parking lot therefore we must bypass when in the motor home. I give it 5 stars for the reasons stated above. Loved it!
Always an excellent rest stop on the way to or from Mammoth. The beers are refreshing, as are the sodas. The staff is very friendly, the Mojave Gold is great for those hot summer days.
I travel to this area frequently for business at a nearby military base. Every time I travel out here, I make it a point to come here. As a Colorado beer snob, I am usually a little reluctant about breweries in small towns in other states. This one is fantastic though! Death Valley Pale and Lobotomy Bock are my favorites. I always pick up a souvenir glass and get it filled for around 5 bucks! Great deal and great place!
The worse restaurant. Service was bad. Food was terrible. We had a party of 4 and NOT one meal was good. Our check had charges that server couldn't explain. Will NEVER go back there
