Kitchen Kettle Village, Intercourse

4.2
#1 of 19 in Sightseeing in Lancaster County
Scenic Walking Area Neighborhood
What began as a home business in a two-car garage has grown into Kitchen Kettle Village. The village experience includes a series of 40 boutiques that sell local, handcrafted goods. You'll discover that each shop is locally owned and sells locally made wares including food items, leather goods, furniture, and clothing. You'll even find a carriage ride service. However, the Pennsylvania Dutch attraction has its origins in old-fashioned home cooking, and the Canning Kitchen restaurant and cafe serves treats from the pantry. • Lots of very nice and very organic stores. Ice cream is good. Lots of parking and places to seat. Lots of different type of stores.  more »
  • There are a few good shops here, especially if you want pickles, jams or chutney and home made wares. Beware though, read the labels as not everything is made in Pennsylvania!  more »
  • Kitchen Kettle Village is a great place to stop for a good meal and lots of good shopping options with many homemade Amish goods.  more »
