  • The owner/chef of the Encore Resturant is skilled, prepares great food and stocks good wines and beers. Perfect venue for pre-performance dinners at The Point.  more »
  • Really cool surprising treat in the Hil Country. Easy access to nice little area. Really well done replicas of both Stonehenge and the Easter Island heads. Relaxing and relatively uncrowded.  more »
  • We happened upon this site as we were driving by. I had read about it, so we did a quick stop to do a look-see. My kids (ages 10 & 12) were interested to hear the story behind this, and enjoyed taking...  more »

  • This is an awesome replica of the original Stonehenge, but you don't have to drive to the middle of Great Britain to visit it. When I visited, it was in the middle of a Sunday and all the businesses and information stations were closed. This made it even more fun as I didn't have to compete with anyone for pictures or just wandering through it. Very worth the drive and visit. Glad I made the effort to find and see it.
  • It is on the river with an outdoor theatre and art center attached. Unfortunately, everything was closed for 4th of July holiday. Stonehenge II is open to the public even if the theatre & art center are closed. A really nice place to visit. Just beware the yellow jacket nests.
  • This was a cute novelty to visit. There is a restaurant next door if you are looking for a pit stop on your drive across Texas. Note that it's not right off the interstate - you have to drive about six miles to find it.
  • Interesting place and beautiful drive through the hill country. I would recommend planning other activities after visiting this place. Its kind of a get down take pictures and leave kinda place. Down town Kerrville is very nice and there are a variety of restaurants in Ingram. I would recommend trying Billy Jean's restaurant because it has a nice view of the river and good food. We took a walk on the river trail in Kerrville and it was nice after a big lunch.
  • Pretty cool place. Good reason to jump in the car for a bit of an adventure.
