Where to stay in Indianapolis

With limited public transportation in the city, those traveling without a car should consider the location of their accommodations carefully. To stay within walking distance of Indianapolis’ best restaurants and bars, look for a hotel or apartment rental in the arty Mass Ave or Broad Ripple neighborhoods. Downtown lodgings are often more expensive, but provide easy access to Indy’s best-known attractions for those on vacation. Bed and breakfasts in the city’s residential areas provide a healthy dose of Midwestern charm.

  • Fun environment but very strict on their rules. I can't complain about the experience I had before once when I went with my mom and husband. However, for Valentine's Day I reserved tickets for my husband and I to go back for our second time. The day of the event we had an emergency and could not make it. There is no way to contact anyone with Wine and Canvas unless you want to leave a voicemail or send an email. You cannot talk to anyone live or directly. After a couple days, I finally heard back from someone. I asked if they would consider refunding our tickets or at least allowing us to reschedule for another session and they would not budge. I understand they have a strict cancellation policy, however, had they took the time to understand the circumstances and why we couldn't be there then I might be a happier customer. They should also have a better way of receiving calls in case something happens and you can't make it - that way they can call those who are on a waiting list. It's highly unlikely I will go back because of this experience.
  • Went and had a blast. Very fun for a large group or smaller. Also the wine was fairly decent!
  • We tried coming to a Wednesday night class and they were not open. We tried to contact and no one answers or gets back to u. Website does not say I have to pre register or class will get canceled so I drove out here for nothing.
  • Love this place so much fun
  • Had a fun experience for Valentine's Day.
