Where to stay in Indianapolis

With limited public transportation in the city, those traveling without a car should consider the location of their accommodations carefully. To stay within walking distance of Indianapolis’ best restaurants and bars, look for a hotel or apartment rental in the arty Mass Ave or Broad Ripple neighborhoods. Downtown lodgings are often more expensive, but provide easy access to Indy’s best-known attractions for those on vacation. Bed and breakfasts in the city’s residential areas provide a healthy dose of Midwestern charm.

  • It's about a half hour drive from downtown and if you're looking for name brands then this is the place to go. When you're ready for a break then you have a choice of food court or restaurant stops.  more »
  • This is a great mall with a lot of variety in stores and restaurants. The parking situation is a bit of a disaster, but I suppose that's any nice mall. High end shops and restaurants and well maintain...  more »
  • No visit is complete without a trip to the Mall. The Keystone Fashion mall is new since I was last in this area. Lots of good stores, many places to get something to eat pleasant to walk around.  more »

  • The Fashion Mall is a great place to kill some time, walk around, or take just care of your holiday shopping. There are many cool stores like Apple and Microsoft. The building is consistently very clean and kept in good shape. Worth a visit.
  • This is a crazy cool mall with a lot of high end stores that I haven't been to. One of the only Microsoft and Apple stores in the state as well as other unique outlets. A must go to if you're in the area!
  • This mall is the best shopping center ever! With apple, lush, the body shop, and Chipotle its so easy to get what u need. Very clean and safe, plus no kiosk sales people harassing you like in other malls
  • Very nice mall. Obviously each individual store will have its own pros and cons, but the mall itself is well maintained. There is one area, just before the food court, that always has a weird smell though.
  • Horrible customer service in most stores. We get it, it's an upscale mall, but I'm from California and my husband is from New York, and we know even people with money can smile and have a good attitude. No one should have to dress to the nines to have good service.
