  • This is the most amazing zoo I have ever been to. We traveled a great distance to visit from Chicago and the wife and I are planning another trip. I could not be happier with the way we were treated and how pleasant and clean the place was. It was raining the day we went but all the animal were actually out and about. We loved the orangutan exhibit and there was always a helpful staff member ready to explain about the animals and their habit almost everywhere we turned. Such a wonderful experience!
  • This is a small zoo with a couple of unique attraction including a sky ride, a small roller coaster and 4D theatre (as in the seat rumble and when a character on the screen spits you're lightly sprayed with water). In my opinion, the gem attraction is the dog show which includes a team of rescued dogs performing some amazing tricks. While I find the general price of admission a little excessive, I opted for a membership so that I could share the experience with up to four other guests when I go.
  • I love the zoo. My husband takes me sometimes and I always enjoy it. Food and drinks are a little pricey so make sure you eat before. But the experience is always worth the trip. Butterfly garden has always been my favorite.
  • The Indianapolis Zoo is in a bit of a renaissance. My family has had a membership here all my life. I grew up in and round the zoo. The recent renovations are nothing short of breathtaking. The orangutan center is spectacular. The rides are fun and the staff is always at their best. The food, while very expensive, is quite good. If you visit Indianapolis, you should try to work in a visit to the Zoo. You won't be disappointed.
  • Nice zoo. Too much construction. The Sky ride thing was too long of a wait for too little of a ride. Dolphin show was fun. We would have liked more animal interactions. Face painter was awesome. Food choices are horribly overpriced junk.
