  • I absolutely love Holliday Park! We use to take our two boys there when they were young. They loved the play area and the fabulous nature center! When they got older we hiked the trails! Now I go there to walk our dog and hike! It is a beautiful place! Always a neat and clean environment!
  • This is one of the best parks in town, easily. Of the dozens of parks that my wife and i have visited in the past couple weeks, this is easily the best. There is a great trail that reminded me of actual hiking (coming from someone who grew up in colorado), beautiful wooded areas and a diverse variety of plants that kind of wowed us. There are several awesome playgrounds, the lawns are well kept, and they are builidng a new fountain which looks pretty neat. I am very impressed, and will definitely be coming back.
  • A hidden gem in Indianapolis. 3 great playgrounds, one handicap accessible, one for toddlers and one for older kids. Great hiking trails, wonderful nature center with animals including turtles, an owl, snake and nice area to watch birds. Great picnic area too.
  • This is simply an excellent park. The playground is decently sized, modern, and well maintained. The nature center looked very nice, although I haven't explored it completely yet. It also has rooms for birthday parties and events. But what really makes this park a five star park for me is its location and trails. Right on the bank of the river, it has several trails that lead though the woods and down to the water. They are also working on a new construction that will include a fountain for people to play in, which looks really fun.
  • The trails leading to the White River would have been enough of an attraction, but there's so much more. The playgrounds, picnic areas, and sculptures are clean and beautiful. My favorite is the Nature Center, with its bird observation room and comfy couches. If you're a math geek, check out the windows in the hallway -- I'm pretty sure their widths follow the Fibonacci sequece, which is a recurring pattern in nature. Don't miss the art exhibits, concerts, and other special events, too. And if you can't put down your phone, there are plenty of Pokestops and a Pokegym in the park.
