Where to stay in Indianapolis

With limited public transportation in the city, those traveling without a car should consider the location of their accommodations carefully. To stay within walking distance of Indianapolis’ best restaurants and bars, look for a hotel or apartment rental in the arty Mass Ave or Broad Ripple neighborhoods. Downtown lodgings are often more expensive, but provide easy access to Indy’s best-known attractions for those on vacation. Bed and breakfasts in the city’s residential areas provide a healthy dose of Midwestern charm.

  • The conservatory, pool, playgrounds, etc. at this location are all kept conditioned rather well. I can't find anything to complain about in regards to this park. It is a great place to spend a day with your loved ones or in quiet mediation. I recommend giving it a shot.
  • I love this park! Great play grounds! My son's love the pool! The arts building is fun they offered a lot of programs. I just wish they had more bathrooms.
  • Lovely park. The oldest and most historic in Indianapolis. So much to see and do here. From a swimming pool to an amphitheatre, botanical gardens and small art gallery, you will find something that you enjoy at Garfield Park alongside the Pleasant Run Creek and Trail.
  • One of my family's favorite Indy parks. Beautiful trees, and wide open spaces. The park is also home to a great art center, botanic garden, pool and historic pagoda.
  • Love Garfield park. Historic, beautiful, serene, clean, well-maintained, Garfield is the total package. One of the best places in the city to take a walk, have a picnic, or to take the kids so they can run off some energy.
