Where to stay in Indianapolis

With limited public transportation in the city, those traveling without a car should consider the location of their accommodations carefully. To stay within walking distance of Indianapolis’ best restaurants and bars, look for a hotel or apartment rental in the arty Mass Ave or Broad Ripple neighborhoods. Downtown lodgings are often more expensive, but provide easy access to Indy’s best-known attractions for those on vacation. Bed and breakfasts in the city’s residential areas provide a healthy dose of Midwestern charm.

  • Have been coming here for a few years and I can't get enough of the place. Excellent beer paired with a very friendly, knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend the Killer Robots when it is in rotation.
  • Good prices on flights of beers and a wide selection of beers on tap. Didn't get to try the food but the beers were all better than average and the Original Intent was very good.
  • I love that more and more craft brewerys are popping up and Black Acre is definitely a good one of those to go to. My favorite might have to be the Chai Guy or the Beard Tax.
  • Great place to hang out. Beer is good and food is even better. We started with crostini, charcuterie with cheese and then had sandwiches. My husband and I split a sandwich. Gail was our server, she was excellent.
  • Love this place. Beer is amazing across the board, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Parking is easy. Probably my favorite brewery in Indianapolis.
