  • Gleason Park is a beautiful park in Indian Harbour Beach. Every year it is improved upon, if that's even possible. There are benches galore, a fabulous playground area for kids, and shaded pathways for slow walks or the faithful jogger's run. I visited on 9/11 and American flags had been placed throughout. This park is superbly maintained which shows the pride taken by the city of Indian Harbour Beach and its residents.
  • I love this place... Nice shaded trails, you get to see huge turtles while strolling. You gotta see this place for yourself. There's a walking track, so much beauty. Enjoy feeding the turtles and fish..but watch out for Gators...
  • We took our boys (4 and 2) here to burn off some energy before dinner. They had such a great time! They played on 4 different playgrounds, as well as trying out the climbing equipment along the path. There were dozens of people out walking their dogs, all on leashes, and a few other families out for a walk. This is definitely a community park and a great place for dogs and/or kids.
  • Only places to walk the dog with shade. The breeze coming off the fountains and little pond are a nice escape from the heat. Love this park.
  • This is a great neighborhood park that is perfect for walking or family picnics. There is lots of shade and a small lake. A few years ago, someone released a small shark into the lake. When people noticed the shark fin in the water as the shark swam back and forth, it became part of the national news feed. A horde of news trucks descended on the park to record everything about the shark. After a few weeks of trying, the shark was captured and was removed from the lake. There are no sharks in the lake now but the story remains. There is an annual 5K race to commemorate the event. It is called "Shark in the Park 5K"
