  • I’ve never left a review before but this place deserves one. My family owns a house down here that we visit a few times a year and every. Single. Time. I’ve been in this shop they have been rude, unhelpful, and have made us feel like we were doing something wrong, following us around. With an average selection that could be found anywhere in the state, they should try to be friendlier and more accommodating. We try so hard to support these local shops but when they make you this uncomfortable it’s hard to keep coming back.
  • This place has a lot of nice things, don't get me wrong. Horrid customer service (Anne, specifically) which is really disappointing because I picked a few hundred dollars of decor for my new home, butwanted to pick up today. Unfortunately,I will never shop here again . First of all, I spent over $120 in Christmas gifts for my family on Saturday. The lady who rang me up, wrapped a small box for me in tissue paper and was basically forcing a pair of earrings that I ALSO bought, into the shell box, thus (most likely) cracking the box without my knowledge.. not saying she did it on purpose or even realized it, it could've been defective. I didn't realize this until unwrapping the box to put it in a gift bag. I was really close to the shop so I decided to bring it back in to see if I could exchange it. I wasn't asking for a refund! This box probably cost them $2 and they're selling it for $10, so I'm sure it's not a huge loss for them- they already have my money. ANN- the "manager" ( her attitude was like Regina George from Mean Girls) proceeded to argue with me that I broke it myself and I'm "lying", etc. etc and made me feel absolutely awful for even bringing it back in and giving me a hard time and made the whole thing really awkward. It wasn't even about the fact that I was about to lose $10 of my hard-earned $ or a gift I spent time selecting for someone, it was the principal-- basically causing a scene, being extremely unprofessIonal and ultimately losing me as a customer--my mom was ALSO with me and had a few things picked out to purchase- we just decided to leave empty handed.. Which sucks because I had a huge wooded sign you guys are selling for $180 that i was going to pick up later with my husband and his SUV, and several other items because we're moving into our new house on the 29th but I sure as hell won't be back. I am a business owner myself and have worked in customer service for years-I would never argue with a customer over a $10 box but - apparently, a $10 box is worth losing a customer for life and crappy reviews! Peace.
  • This place is a rip off. They follow you around and treat you like you're up to no good. They try to up sell you stuff and add things to your fitting room, which I find to be outright rude. I had bought a necklace and earrings and was told that I'd then get a free bracelet as long as it was the same price as the necklace. The necklace was about $38, earrings $24. It wasn't until I got home when it dawned on me that they charged me for both the necklace and bracelet... both of which were $38. In addition, I had a 20% off coupon that stated that surfboards were excluded... no mention of any other exclusions, yet I get to the register and I couldn't use it on my purchase. Such a scam. I've never cared for the place and will definitely never go back. I would not recommend this store to anyone.
  • I rented a #StandupPaddleSurfBoard from here. Loved to #SUP and they gave me some good tips of where to go out!
  • Very cool surf shop! Makes me want to learn to surf.
