  • Great historical home with beautiful landscape. The tour was great. I recommend visiting here
  • It was pretty interesting. A bunch of dedicated staff on each floor of the mansion. Most of them were pretty knowledgeable. They also show you a 7 minute video at the beginning if you want to get a better history of the place. The walking trail in the back isn't really worth it other than to stretch your legs. It's essentially just a field that sits next to houses now.
  • Great thing to see. A lot of history to see, and interesting to see how they lived.
  • Lovely antebellum mansion with outbuildings. Tours led by volunteers, come by around Christmas to see every room decorated! 16 acres with interpretive walking trail describing covered wagon ruts still visible. Original furniture, and art hangs on walls.
  • This is a great home to tour, you can even take a wagon tour of the grounds and the other historic sites in this area. Fun for the family. Great craft show every July-you should check it out
