  • Wonderful Park & Zoo perfect for Children and Families. I highly recommend small train ride, miniature golf course, and taking your time to enjoy the fountain in the park. It is historic, in that the first monkey to go in outer space, the first American monkey, came from the Ralph Mitchell zoo in their collection.
  • Love going to this zoo an park with our grandkids. They are ages 2 to 11 an enjoy themselves an we enjoy ourselves watching them learn an play. Great afternoon activity.
  • For the size of the town and location this is a nice zoo. Being a drive through makes it fun too and lots of times you see the animals better than at most large zoos.
  • Those who come will definitely be pleasantly surpised. Who knew a small town like this would have such a beautiful park?
  • its a free zoo with a old large steam train your kidos can play around on, theres also a very nice large park to let them run all that sugar rush out after the cotten candy from the snack bar, sorry folks no adult drinks alowed. dont ask on the last part old Las Vegas habits die hard...
