  • What a great place. Taking you through there entire journey of Lewis and Clark. Good spot to spend a couple of hours.
  • The museum lays out the Corps of Discovery's trek east to west in an easy-to-understand manner. I liked walking the route rather than viewing it in a more static setting. Nice views of the river and o...  more »
  • The museum give a nice chronological journal of the Lewis & Clark expedition. The main exhibit is about their winter stay in the area. The film is also worth watching.

  • Amazing scenery and history here. Lots of great information and interactive displays. Got married at Cape Disappointment, always love coming back here for anniversaries. Very clean and relaxing environment. The gift shop has some really great books and t-shirts to check out. Nothing else feels quite like home as the nearby trails, amazing view, and Pacific Northwest weather.
  • Good detailed account of the L&C exploration with enough for adults & interactives for children
  • Wonderful museum in a beautiful natural setting. Perfectly adapted for kids.
  • Very interesting well thought out and done.
  • What a fun place! All sorts of great info about the area. There are spectacular views. If you go it does cost a few dollars. If you don't want to pay you can still look around at the views. Either way, make sure you make the hike out to the lighthouse which is free. It's about half a mile and fairly easy. It overlooks Dead Man's Cove, which you can go down to. It reminded me of the Goonies! Up at the lighthouse you get even better views of the Interpretive Center, mouth of the Columbia River and over to Astoria.
