  • What a great hike it was it was not the easiest in the world but it wasn't that difficult it was well worth it I did get to see a A black tailed buch on the trail.had a great day.
  • We have been here a few times, and each time it seems to get better. The views are awesome, and it is a pretty easy walk around there. Perfect for people like me with a bad back!
  • We were there to see where my great-great-grandfather was the lighthousekeeper, which was very interesting. There was great help and interest from Aaron Webster-thank you for the tour. We returned the favor with a number of photo and diary from my great-great-grandfather James Anderson (Jens Andersen) from Denmark.

  • It's a short walk from the parking lot. First some downhill and then a steep uphill. Less than a mile though. Beautiful views once you get to the lighthouse. Well worth the hike.
  • Beautiful place. I love it but... why can't they paint the lighthouse every few years so it looks nice and pristine like the ones on the east coast??
  • But if a hike for kids but great view and you can get right up to the lighthouse.
  • Nice views. Fun to watch the coast guard work from this vantage point.
  • I love this place. The lighthouse is so cool, and there was a nice man from the coastguard that works in a little shack next to it. Told us about the lighthouse history and what its like to work there. I wish we could have seen the inside of the relic. But the man said it was too old to let visitors in. Oh well... We got some splendid pictures up there and its only a 1/2 mile hike to get there. If you're going to or coming from Astoria, you need to go see this place first when you have time. Its very quaint. You will not be disappointed at Cape Disappointment. :)
