  • One of my favorite national forests. It is kind of broken up, with various towns within the forest, but the different spots make it worth the trip. Go see garden of the gods. It's a breathtaking sight especially in the fall. If it hasn't rained a lot recently go and see little Grand canyon and play around in the bottoms area.
  • Did i luck out. After driving in rain for 6 hours, i got an hour of clear skies, enough time to visit The Garden of the Gods. It was beautiful there. The park, parking lot and bathrooms were very well maintained.
  • Camping is great here! Me and my family love Johnson Creek and go camping there every summer. The restrooms are clean and the people who work there are real friendly.
  • Beautiful scenery! That camp site I was at was pretty big. Had a great time! Make sure to go on some hikes and check out the bogs out there.
  • The things that naturally formed over many years makes this place amazing. I'm heading to Pounds Hollow. It's a very secluded lake and very beautiful. Beaches are clean and fishing is not to bad.
