  • 8 of us rode the Hiawatha Trail and the Coeur D'Alene Trail over three days for one of the best rides ever! We took off from Wallace riding along the Coeur D'Alene until Mullan. Then we rode through S...  more »

  • This is a totally lovely bike ride. If someone was claustrophobic the tunnels could be a problem. Make sure to have a very good head lamp and the tunnels will not be too bad. The views are fantastic a...  more »

  • this is a great activity to do in the summer. The very easy bike ride. So easy in fact I actually did it on a street bike. I wouldn't recommend it cost or afterwards but if you don't have a mountain bike as possible. It's very nice to have the bus buses come up and take you back up the mountain. So make sure you don't miss them. I posted the bus schedule. It is a beautiful bike ride. You are carving through mountains and I hope you like tunnels cuz there's a lot of them. It it it gets pretty cool in the first tunnel but then it warms up. Hope you enjoy and you make this the destination on your next trip.
  • My family did not love this as others have. We only did the downhill and took the shuttle up as we had a 5 and 8 year old on the trip. There were some good views from the bridges but the vast majority of the 15 miles is on a dusty and rocky road. If you're still interested, do make sure you have headlights (on bike or helmet) and a sweatshirt or jacket as the first tunnel is 1.5 miles and only 45degrees! It was $50 for three riders as 5 and under is free. It took us just over 2 hours plus the 30 minute return shuttle trip.
  • This trail with all the views and the tunnels was amazing. Took my 3 year old in a bike trailer behind me the whole way. She loved it. The only downside was waiting for a shuttle for awhile at the end...
  • Great activity for groups with young kids. Trail is super easy and all the tunnels and trestles are super fun. Lookout Pass staff was amazing. All very helpful and willing to bend over backwards to help.
  • One of the best things I've ever done!! So beautiful
