  • We had such fun on this tour. Though it's recommended to book a spot for a tasting ahead of time, we took our chances and hightailed it there after our visit to LBJ Ranch on a rainy mid-week morning. ...  read more »
  • We enjoyed taking the tour of the distillery and the guide was very knowledgeable and proud of their product. Enjoyed sampling the bourbon and visiting the grounds.
  • The tour was well planned out with great information as well as lots of fun. We learned a lot about the entire process and had fun samples all along the way. They even started the tour with a free bee...  read more »
  • I'm not a bourbon person, but the distillery tour was a great experience. It's gratifying to know that Garrison Brothers products are completely Texas born and crafted, from the grains and corn to the hand dipped wax and the hand-pressed Texas star seal. It's an absolutely fascinating tour- a bit of history, a bit of science, and a lot of Texas heart.
  • Great little craft-distillery... If you don't know this place exists, you'll never ever find it. The Garrison Brothers are tucked a few miles south of the highway from Hye village. With that said, a trip out here is well worthwhile if you're into craft whisky. The distillery sits on a large piece of ground and has a decidedly rustic feel to it, with outbuildings, barns, and smaller shacks forming the actual compound. If you're here on a sunny afternoon, there's a large terrace where you can enjoy a cooling drink after the "stresses" of the distillery tour. Garrison Brothers is open for tours from Wednesday through Sunday.
  • Great time and facility! Staff very friendly and knowledgable; however, only 3 stars due to the fact that we only sampled 1 bourbon and there were no keep sake glasses.
  • Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Not whiskey snobs just whiskey lovers. Great tour and visit.
  • Great place to stop by for a tour. Make sure to show up a little early and partake in their free coffee, food, an beer (Suggested 5 -10 donation), followed by a tour that you get to taste the various points of making the bourbon. If you want you can even seal up your own bottle to take home! Thanks guys!!
