  • We visited this park and did a drive through only as we were in the area to hike. The spring is very pretty. The shower/bathroom facilities were very clean! Nice place!
  • Clean, very large sites to camp in. A few trails, and a playground about a half mile from the camp area (too much of a walk to let the kids to play on their own). Only got one AT&T bar on our phone occasionally, but mostly no signal until you get to the park office about half mile away. Would have rated it higher, had there been more to the park (kind of hard to believe this is a state park). It's basically a campground loop on the side of a highway through the woods (some cars would go super fast through 60mph), with a a playground and pool down the road from it. Usually, state parks have more green areas to stroll and are larger overall. Regardless, it's clean and our kids had fun since we parked our RV in the site next to our friends in the neighboring site (19 and 21). Those are perfect sites for that kind of thing...nice green lawn between the two sites. Make your way to Lost Valley trail about 45 min away if you have time - beautiful hike with waterfalls and a few caves (probably the most scenic area in the's near the Buffalo river)
  • Enjoyed the camping facilities, ranger led hikes and learning opportunities, and thet War Eagle Creek. Just neted front desk to be better informwd on cretek levels for those who are hoping to utilize the parks canoes and kayak service.
  • We love this spot. Also Jennifer is amazing can't wait to see what we learn next!
  • Great park with trails and great camping amenities. Helpful staff. Great place to get away
  • This was my favorite place to camp growing up, it's beautiful.
