  • Place is nice, unfortunately they were working in some trail and we were unable to do complete our goal. Is a good place to watch the autum colors, the view aroun the lake are nice, and yes you can watch wild living creatures there.
  • My husband and I had a blast a few months back , not to mention at night they had color lights display on at Lake Raven. During the day time multiple activities best one Canoeing on Lake Raven, prices start at 34$ per hour. I consider this place a $$$ rating. $$- $$$- $$$$-
  • My first time visit and I will be going back for sure!! Tucked away ponds, nature and wildlife, this is the perfect place to spend the day and calm yourself. I love when I can escape the hustle and noise of Houston, and this place allows you to do so. Wear high boots or socks because some of the dry sticks are sharp but otherwise it's a wonderful home through the woods - at your own pace!
  • Great place to go when you want to hear the sounds of nature. Awesome hiking and amazing sunsets. They do have alligators so you need to be respectful to them, this is their environment. Overall just a great outdoors experience.
  • Everything sounds good except for the alligators. And If you don't mind close encounters with wildlife, the squirrels are friendly and will feed from your hand. They eat almost anything. Lots of shade, lots of people......I'm not O.K.with the loud Spanish drug cartel music. Park patrol should do something about that. Or just ignore it. I'm also wondering if some of those park visitors have loved ones in prison near by. Just saying.
