  • This is a little like rummaging around Huntsville's attic. Several floors of exhibits. Steam Railway oriented of course.  more »
  • History is important and understanding the impact that this railroad station had in the growth of Huntsville was fascinating. The layout was impressive - and the actual facilities were well maintained...  more »
  • This is a very neat place to check out for some neat history. Definitely recommend the guided tour through this historic landmark to hear about its past and all it has to offer. You won't be sorry!  more »

  • I just loved bringing my two boys to the train depot! My boys are 4 and 2 so we didn't do the actual museum part, but they loved going in and out of all the big trains. The air conditioned play room with smaller trains and toys was a nice break from the hot sun and helped our 4 year old (who has mild autism) settle down and transition to the big trains(which he was scared of at first). My husband and I had fun climbing on things too! 😊 The sand pit with buckets and shovels was a big hit as well. Plenty of shade everywhere and a nice covered pincic area for a quick snack. We even got to see two real trains go by, which made my boys extremely happy. 😁
  • It's where beer fest is. It's clean and has a nice layout. Would go again
  • Awesome place to walk around and see trains and the veteran's memorial.
  • This can be a place for kids or adults. It has where children can play dress up, play on fire trucks and learn history about trains.
  • Visited the Old Railroad Museum and The Gateway of Courage and it was Awesome
