  • The weather was perfect for the garden today. We enjoyed walking paths, butterflies, birds, flowers, water fountains, over water bridges, and lots of places are under the shade. Highly recommended!

  • We went on a beautiful (very humid) day in September. We drank a lot of water and enjoyed the very picturesque grounds.

  • I am a member of the Garden. It has great trails, well maintained, great events and friendly people. The seasonal events are spectacular. If you like visiting gardens - this is a must see.

  • Beautiful, well kept gardens. Lots of walking trails. Plants are well identified and kept. Staff is very friendly. Butterfly House is beautiful with many varieties of butterflies you can observe up close. If you sit still, you may be lucky enough to have one land on you. The Children's Garden is amazing! There are facilities are well placed throughout the Garden so you are never far from water or restrooms. Lots of shady spots to hang out on hot sunny days.
  • The Garden is a great place to visit for flowers, birds and bugs, but this varies greatly for all three depending on the season, of course. It is generally quiet, is an easy walk and there are a range of things to enjoy. Solitude is a little difficult to find with the number of visitors at any given time, but most are fairly quiet. I wish they opened earlier in the day (9:00 AM is the normal opening time) when the light and bird activity are better for photography. I have attached a few pictures from early August.
  • In town for the weekend and the gardens were just a block away! So worth the time to stroll through these beautifully kept gardens! We were there during the Stickworks and swing displays and they were fun to find during our exploration of the gardens. The Children's garden and the butterfly pavilion is a must visit while there! Don't miss those! Make sure you bring sunscreen and water! Although there are lots of shady areas out can get quite steamy in the open areas!
  • This is an experience in Huntsville that you CAN NOT pass up. I went during the summer and I would love to come back in the spring. Absolutely beautiful, a large variety of plants. The butterfly garden is very tranquil. The aquatic garden has a beautiful walkway and there is a play area for children. There are several locations among the trees that have places to sit and take in the surroundings. Also, there is a cafe on the grounds. I would suggest making sure you bring a water bottle to be prepared for the heat if you are going during the summer.
  • A bountiful and beautiful botanical bonanza bound to be blissful. This is a huge garden that is filled with different areas during different seasons. They have an amazing butterfly house where you can walk around the butterfly's fluttering. They have a lot of cool art exhibits and kids activities. I was impressed by the ADA access everywhere. They had a really cool dinosaur train exhibit powered by solar panels. Enough fun for the whole family though in my opinion a little pricy. So stay long and get your money's worth
