Where to stay in Huntsville

A few independently owned bed and breakfasts and hotels can be found in the town's historical districts, but most rooms are in large, modern, chain hotels that offer both standard and extended-stay rooms. These chain hotels often have rooms for walk-in guests. The bed and breakfasts in the city center require advance reservations.

  • My kids love this place- age range 3-16. We have been several times. The animals are so friendly. They come up to the car and will even follow you. The animals are very well cared for. We have been 3 ...  more »
  • Pros: Getting to see emus, ostriches, giraffes, goats, deer, buffalo, peacocks, alpacas and more from your car and getting up close and personal while you feed them. As an animal lover it was awesome!...  more »

  • We absolutely love going here. Our kids are now teenagers and they still love going. It's fun for all ages. There's no other place around that will give you the same experience. We will definitely be going back time and time again 😃😃😃
  • We stopped here on a Tuesday about 4 pm and what a perfect time! We got right in with no lines and took our time going around the park. The llamas and emus greeted us right away. The kids had a great time! Definitely purchase the buckets of food, it was well worth it!
  • These animals had closer habits to their real wild ones. These animals were in good shape, and obviously cared for. Some of the reptiles could have used more space, but no place can be perfect.
  • This was a day trip for my grandsons and two of my granddaughters. The boys wanted to ride through several times. They loved it!!!
  • Kids love it. With rams, emus, bison, deer, alligators, tortoises, a giraffe, and a whole reptile house how could they not? Make sure to buy plenty of their (very reasonably priced) animal food.
