  • The village is set around the time that Alabama achieved statehood. i.e. 1819 The people are in period clothing and perform some of tasks from that era.

  • Few streets with nice buildings, nothing else to do. You can sight seeing while driving, no need to actually walk to the houses 
  • I enjoyed it very much. However I don't think it was as fascinating to my two kids who where 19 & 15 at the time. Or maybe they just didn't have the same level of appreciation for that time period as I did. I think it may have been better had we gone w/ a group.
