  • Really nice without being over the top. Was here for a wedding and an overnight guest. The wedding food was very good, as was the breakfast. The beds were amazing as well as the rooms as a whole. They also came in and prepared the rooms for us to sleep by removing decorative pillows, putting nice relaxing music on and drawing the sheets and turning off the lights except for the ones reachable from the bed. They even put a bottle of water on each nightstand and a glass.
  • Gorgeous mansion. The room was a good size and had a beautiful bathroom. I fell in love with the claw foot tub. The vibe is very peaceful but a few events were going on during my stay which was the only bad thing. The other thing is there isn't a spa and no pool which is a shame. You can walk the gardens or take a peek in the library but other than that there isn't much to do on the grounds. It is surrounded by a golf course but if you are not into that then you will have to find your entertainment elsewhere. This is why I have given the Oheka Castle a 4 star instead of 5. They need to improve on entertainment but other than that Yes I felt like a princess in her own castle. The molton brown products are AMAZING so much that I actually ordered a bunch of their products online.
  • Visited for the Uncorked Food and Wine event. The grounds are incredible, the food and wine vendors were great, and the staff were very attentive. We had a great time and are looking forward to visiting for another event.
  • My wife and I were here for a wedding reception. Much of the grounds were open to us to explore and take photos. The place is amazing and beautiful. It's really neat to see all of the history as well. The Charlie Chaplin room is pretty interesting. The library was really cool. The best part however, might be the view of the gardens from the terrace.
  • Went for a tour and lunch. It's not a museum or a castle, more a big mansion that's been carefully recreated after being looted in the past. Tour guide was passionate but I personally found the content a little boring and repetitive. Lunch was included and tasty. The rooms looked huge, expensive, and a little outdated, but we only saw it for a minute in the tour. Probably a beautiful venue for a wedding though!
