  • Shipley Nature is a beautiful place in Central Park. There are butterflies and birds flying all around, squirrels, bunny rabbits, insects and coyotes. Every summer there is a camp here called, Inside the Outdoors and it's amazing. If you have young kids, this is a great place for them to spend their summers.

  • As a volunteer at Shipley Nature Center since 2004, I recommend Shipley Nature Center as a great experience for everyone, young and older alike, to experience this 18-acre natural refuge located near the northwest corner of Central Park in Huntington Beach, California. Come to see lizards, rabbits, squirrels, scores of birds, and native Southern California plants.
  • Over 4,000 feet of trails that travel through different habitats, including Torrey pines, meadows, willow trees, a freshwater wetland, oak woodlands, and sycamore trees. Well worth the trip.
  • Everything,I never realized how many Cal. natives we have😍
