  • We enjoyed spending time looking through the well stocked grocery store, deli and meat department and ending up in our favorite department, the bakery. Delicious!  more »
  • This is a little German community with restaurants, shops and even living quarters that remind you of a Bavarian village. Authentic German food and goods for sale. This is a unique offering in Hunting...  more »
  • We went on a Sunday afternoon for the Oktoberfest. We watched the Dachshund races. It was great fun. There was quite a crowd. Food was tasty and the beer was cold. Some people dressed up. They had Ger...  more »
  • Love this place. Lots of great authentic European food and drinks. A really fun Oktoberfest that gets packed, great beer, food, and lots of dancing. My favorite thing though is that the workers are REAL Germans. 2 thumbs up on service and the girls are pretty. Come here, or stay away so that it's less crowded
  • It's quiet in this village at night. It feels like a fairy tale village, kinda strange but fun and exciting. I stayed at hotel Europe located inside this village. I enjoy this place, It feels safe and cozy. It's an older place but it has character. It's spring break and literally every other hotel is booked solid. At least I stumbled upon this place. It's a new experience. The only weird thing about it is that they lock the doors at night so guests can not come and go as they please. But if you plan to stay in for the night, you're all set! Check it out if you enjoy trying new things.
  • Beware of the Strudel and Chocolate shop their prices are high! We bought four cookies one piece of candy and an Apple Strudel, the total price $29. Ouch. I should have walked away but the high pressure sales technique by the old lady got me. Looks good and smells good just ask how much before you get out your wallet. By the way it is cash only.
  • My family and I have been coming to Old World for decades. The Einbecker German Restaurant was the best ever, but the folks who owned the place returned to Europe, and have been greatly missed ever since. The German Church is lovely, and I was married there in 1994. My daughter was then Christened there. There are nice, clean German Cuisine restaurants with excellent food, and Deli with awesome bread, sausages and cheeses. As well as sweets, cakes and other German, Bavarian and other European delights.
  • Laughable facade to a dying era of Huntington Beach. The shops here are either on its last legs or have left their legs behind. I can foresee these shops moving across the street and paying more money on rent as Bella Terra, meanwhile closing the Village and making a modern village of lofts. Gentrification can be cruel, but it sure looks cute.
