Such a fabulous library and so unexpected sitting in glorious Central Park. Kids will love the special section for them. Great place to study and read and wonderful used book sale section!
This is so clean and well kept library I have seen. I have gone to plays there. They rent out conference rooms that we had programs in. I loved the reading to the little kids in their little kids sect... read more »
With the internet, one can find almost everything needed, in the time it takes to get to a library. Even so, a library is a great resource, even if one uses a computer at a library to do the research.
Best place to get your study on! People are quiet. Ample seating. They sell snacks and coffee on the lower floor in case you need to refresh before taking on another study hour. Also, windows everywhere - look at the pictures yourself and you'll definitely want to study/read in this book worm's sanctuary.
I live in Northridge and came to Huntington Beach to take care of something and decided to study for couple of hours. I've been to so many libraries in LA area but Huntington Beach Central Library is the best one I've been so far. It's beautiful and quite. It has unlimited free parking so you don't have to worry about your car. there is a coffee shop at the lower floor so whenever you need that magical drink(coffee!) or snacks, you don't have to leave the library and waste your time. The , beautiful water fountains and decoration of plants is a signature of this library. I wish I was living nearby.
Lots of laptop-friendly seating (large tables with charging ports) and fountains to create a comfortable atmosphere. Love!
The WiFi sucks, and the fact that it closes on Sunday also sucks, but regardless it's a good place to study.
Absolutely a great place to study and read.
