Very interesting little place. The park is best experienced by dropping in on the historical demonstrations in the forge. It is also a great base for exploring the larger Rothrock State Forest. If you like cold water swimming this is the place for you.
Beautiful area. You can play in the water, play on the playground, take a walk around the lake... Fun place to take the whole family
Ran my first marathon here amazing views especially when you get to the top of the mountain very challenging hike but sites are amazing peaceful and you can definitely get a lot of great pictures if you are a photographer
A quiet and relaxing place for a picnic. Running water in the bathrooms, pavilions (some with electricity), a lake to swim in, history, a walking path, baseball/softball field, fishing, kayaking, OR just sit and watch the day go by!
A great hidden gem of a park. The campsites are very large compared to a lot of other state parks.
