This is completely worth the money. We were confused between this and Poconos as both were equidistant for us. Glad we picked this, primary reason was cost. The beginners pkg (equipment rental + 90 mi... read more »
We visited Hunter Mountain during Octoberfest 2016 and had a great time. It has grown from the last time we went about 10 years ago. We did purchase the VIP pass which allowed us quick access to the c... read more »
The Sky Ride paired with October Fest is a great mix of super fall foliage, fun Fest music, good German beer and food. Less German than in previous years, but louder rock fans separated more from trad... read more »
Had A great time. Did the Zip line and it was a great experience. I just did the mid mountain one as the big one looked like too much for me. Its approximately 650 feet above the canopy of the trees and something like 1000 meters long and that's just the first one of 5 lines you do. The mid mountain tour was 6 zip lines and 4 rope bridges. the highest was like 75 feet and just a few hundred meters long so it wasn't terrifying lol . there was also tubing in a near by river which was really fun!
The summer skyride to the summit of the mountain is a great way to relax, and escape both the heat and the humidity at lower altitudes. They have chairs in shaded areas that just invite sitting, reading, and napping. Worth the drive!
Went to the Octoberfest 2015. It was pretty cool, but the line to ride the lift was 45 mins to 1 hour...and there was nothing at the top of the mountain...zip lines werent even open. Very pet friendly.
August 6, 2016- Celtic festival. $16.00 entrance fee, multiple venues playing mostly Irish songs. Bagpipe Competition. Highland games. And it was disconcerting to see one person smoking (how times have changed).
We took a Bus Trip up for the TAPNY event. The location is beautiful the facility has great views of the mountains and the town is just as beautiful. Service was fantastic, the restrooms were very clean considering there were a large amount of people on the site that day. Can't wait to go back next year !
