  • My same sex partner and I love this state park. Its the best. If you're not a gay couple. Every time we stay in the Seminole RV campground we're harassed by one particular park ranger. He always comes...  more »

  • My wife and I spent the weekend at Sequoyah State Park at the Sequoyah Lodge, actually at one of their cabins. Cabins are nicely done, with a small kitchen. We enjoyed seeing the deer and fox as we to...  more »

  • It's a nice place, there are many camping and Grilling areas, lots of deer in 4 oz and sometimes turkeys! Also if you have youngsters or even if you don't, the Nature Center is a good place to visit and Outback they have foxes and owls and an eagle who's been injured. And if you check the website, they also do nature walks and things with kids for the summer time.. and it's mostly local folk that work there
  • We hiked on the three forks nature trail. It was a beautiful trail, but not well marked. We look forward to camping at this State Park and hiking more of the trails. I hope the lake access allows for good fishing.
  • Sequoyah is a great place to go to connect with nature. The forest is gorgeous with its hiking trails. There is lake access from parts also. Don't forget to visit the nature center to check out the array of native wildlife there, including a coyote, a bald eagle, gray foxes, red foxes, three toed box turtles, and several species of snakes!
  • Very clean!!! Beautiful setting. Would definitely return.
  • It's a nice state park with beautiful 7 mile vista views. Without alot of traffic and it has been recently redone inside and the fishing is good. But the best part is the gorgeous lake views and never ending sunsets. And wait until you can see the 7 mile wide lake views. I bet you fall in love clear nights and those evening sunsets along with the reasonable prices as it is very affordable... Incidently those photos of deer grazing are actually feeding on private property. But we neighbors love they're presence.
