  • What an amazing place! Adult and kids will love it. We had no idea what to expect and whole family had a good time. The grounds are worth the trip but tour the mansion. Tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. We got great pictures.
  • Don't Go !! The entire staff was very rude and arrogant. The made my family and I feel they were doing us a favor by permitting us to participate on this tour and we paid for this experience!! If you are already in this area, the better choice would be to explore the city of Hudson-if you want a more positive experience for this part of the Hudson River area. Mike D. San Antonio,Tx
  • Beautiful home and grounds, definitely a sight to see. I would skip the tour if I was going again. Our guide was grandmotherly and very dry and dull, and spent most of the tour going on and on about every painting in the house. Most of the art is old and very darkened from age, some almost black. Many uninteresting portraits of dead people and rough sketch paintings. Besides the art, the house is filled with a wide variety of flea market items and a huge number of incense burners. My guess is that the guide was a retired kindergarten teacher since she spoke to our adult group like children, and scolded me for leaning against a doorway. She told us that pictures were allowed but "no video or texting". huh?
  • Always beautiful, sunsets are amazing. Deer travel in herds in the fields in the early morning. Architecture is amazing.
  • Gorgeous home and amazing views. Walk one of the trails while you are here. You will not be disappointed.
