  • Saint Arnolds Brewery located near I-10 and 59 N is worth a visit. Excellent beers, all brewed at the brewery and a great variety. My favorite was the Ale Wagger and 6% of the sales of that brew go to...  more »
  • Very nice place to visite and to enjoy few beers with freinds. A place to not miss for sure! We'll be back!
  • A craft brewery - a short talk and walk round with an enthusiast(!) together with lunch and some excellent beers made a really good half day visit. The place does take a little finding but is clearly ...  more »

  • I love trying different types of beers, especially the craft beers, and St Arnold's is one of the oldest in Houston. Just like the other breweries in town, they have the token system, and even the package of buying the souvenir glass with some beer tokens. At St Arnold's you can get the 8oz souvenir glass and 4 beer tokens for $10. Not a bad deal, but I do with they offered the standard sized beer glass, I wouldn't even mind paying slightly more for it. They do also offer food, but keep in mind the kitchen closes at around 4pm and opens up again at 5:30pm (on Friday anyways). We didn't know so we were out of luck on food around 4 and that's how we found out. The beer is delicious and there are different types of beers for those who prefer one type over another. The food looked good, even if on the pricey side, but maybe I'll get a chance to try it next time. They have a beer hall as opposed to the beer garden at the other places. This is great for hot summer days, but they do need more seating inside the hall, and I can see how they get packed pretty easy on the weekends. We did the tour, which really is just some historical info and a trip downstairs to where everything is processed. Still pretty cool and worthwhile at least once. The staff is friendly, but the place could use a little regular cleaning up. The floors were sticky around the standing tables, and some of the seating areas needed some wiping down as well. Overall I had a great experience, and it's pretty cool that you can bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Saint Arnold's Brewery truly holds a special place in my heart. Been apart of the experience for about 8 years or so since it's last location. Love how they changed up the old HISD building into what we know today. Especially with the addition to the second bar!! Eliminates those huge lines from before. Total improvement! Love attending Saturdays. They even produce their own root beer.! Great place to bring friends and family. Bring games and food if you like.! Drink a few and have a good time. Can't beat 4 beers for 8 bucks.!! From the tours to the special event's. I love this place...not to mention THE BEER!! :)
  • I just had the most amazing lunch today. Today's special consisted of jerk chicken, collard greens, coconut rice and toasted plantains with pineapple sour cream. Also, the side salad consisted of Spring Greens with Blueberries, Apples, Toasted Hazelnuts, Blue Cheese and Blueberry Mint Vinaigrette. Probably the best lunch I've had here as of yet. $20 you get a two-course meal and open Taps until 2 p.m. Excellent price for an excellent lunch and even more exceptional beer!
  • Awesome brewery, awesome beer. I hope they never sale out like ((karbach) aka trashweiser) They also serve great food. Good spot for an afternoon with friends.
  • Any of the seasonal beers are great. I love the Amber or Lawnmower for any occasion. Great bar tenders as well!
