  • It is not a very pretty square, it is a place that if you have good shops and is large but has nothing in particular, only a 2-story carousel.

  • Lots to see for families. My girls were in awe of the American Girl Store with its doll salon and cafe. The ice skating rink was easily accessible. My youngest daughter loved the castle in the Disney ...  more »

  • Clean. Great selection of mid and higher end stores. Excellent restaurant choices in the parking lots and surrounding areas. Good fast food choices inside as well. Parking isn't perfect but parking garages by Macy's and Dillard's helps on the weekends. Valet is available on the backside away from I-10 if you don't want to bother looking for a spot. Can get crowded like every place but generally its almost always pleasant.
  • This mall has a whole mess of shopping opportunities but damn does it get crowded. It doesn't help that there's a hospital right across the street, so if you come into the area make sure you're prepared for traffic. However, there are still a lot of stores here where you can find a lot of the stuff you're looking for in one place. The Cheesecake Factory is always a good idea. Having a Target attached to the mall means more crowds and traffic but it also gives you the chance to pick up some general shopping items that might save you a trip to the grocery store or somewhere else. There's also security on constant patrol in the parking lot, which is reassuring.
  • Great Mall! Nice part of Houston and close to the freeway. Food court had a nice variety of places to eat. Had a Apple store and alot of sports shops. Very clean. Easy to find your way around. One of my favorites!
  • This mall has great stores to shop at, it is very clean. The only thing is that it gets really crowded on weekends and finding parking can be hard. Other than that, you can probably go on weekdays to avoid all the people. Overall, it's a great mall to spend your time and and shop.
  • One of the best malls ever. They have daily free events, lots for the kids to do, great food options, and great stores. Plus they continually work to improve even though they are already awesome

Where to stay in Houston

If you come to Houston to splurge while on holiday, book a luxurious room at a downtown hotel. This area is an ideal base for getting to know Houston, offering you a chance to stay within walking distance of one of the country's largest theater districts. Houston bills itself as the "Energy Capital of the World," so it's no surprise that it houses many "green" hotels, their garages designed to cater to electric vehicle owners. For something completely different, enjoy a Texas country experience at a working ranch outside the city limits.
