Where to stay in Houston

If you come to Houston to splurge while on holiday, book a luxurious room at a downtown hotel. This area is an ideal base for getting to know Houston, offering you a chance to stay within walking distance of one of the country's largest theater districts. Houston bills itself as the "Energy Capital of the World," so it's no surprise that it houses many "green" hotels, their garages designed to cater to electric vehicle owners. For something completely different, enjoy a Texas country experience at a working ranch outside the city limits.

  • This was a very nice place to grab a bite to eat. Good beer and food. There service was also great, friendly and relaxed. The patio was a great place to sit while the weather is nice. Definitely a nice place to stop in for dinner when you want to get a little bit away from town.
  • Had a great time. Did the tour, ate the good, tasted all the beers. Tacos were amazing, the girlfriend love the Ruben sandwich she got. Atmosphere is very chill and relaxed, pricing is decent for the quality of food. Definitely worth checking out I'd you're in the area.
  • Great atmosphere, & happy smiles on every face I saw. Seems to be improving, all in all. Update 6-30-17 I had a really good buzz going when I went & the truth is that their beer sucks & employees are snooty as hell. So I am dropping the 5 to a 3 since my original post was factual
  • Were there Sunday before Memorial Day, we loved it, beers were excellent, price was cheap, and service was excellent. Love to go back to use our remaining beer tokens. It was hot and humid, it is Houston. Free parking is spacious, its great, really.
  • This was my first time here, so I got the flight and selected my beers. I have to say Karbach beer my new favorite. There's food was great we got the BBQ Pizza and Brussels sprouts. The food was delicious and big enough to share. We will definitely return, they have plenty of room inside and out. We decided to eat outside and the water did a great job. Definitely enjoyed and got great service.
