Where to stay in Houston

If you come to Houston to splurge while on holiday, book a luxurious room at a downtown hotel. This area is an ideal base for getting to know Houston, offering you a chance to stay within walking distance of one of the country's largest theater districts. Houston bills itself as the "Energy Capital of the World," so it's no surprise that it houses many "green" hotels, their garages designed to cater to electric vehicle owners. For something completely different, enjoy a Texas country experience at a working ranch outside the city limits.

  • Very fun. Friendly staff, bigger course than Dallas location. Operation of course not as good and carts not as smooth. Would definitely visit again but Dallas location slightly better. Still waiting to try Austin & SA locations.
  • Loads of fun! A few friends and I went here on Memorial day Monday and took a lap around their track. When I saw the Go-Karts go around, I was all like yeah I got this, this looks easy and kinda slow! I'll nail it! Boy was I surprised! It is no walk in the park! Once you're strapped in those things and they pick up speed, it is very challenging! There are so many things to consider on the track! Your speed, your cornering, other people on the track, adhering to the rules of not bumping or drifting, giving way to faster karts, all the while maintaining your speed, it's quite a rush! Those things are definitely designed for speed and NOT comfort so expect a few limbs and joints to hurt afterwards. Oh, and every single muscle strand and bone in your arms and hands will be exerted beyond what you're accustomed to. All that combined with the speed and the adrenaline makes for a very entertaining activity. NOT for the faint of heart for sure lol!
  • Gr8 place for go karting enthuthiastics. All cars are battery operated and comes in two sizes for Adults and Juniors. One time membership fee if $8 to be paid. See website for prices and offers. After each race you get your printouts with lap timings and best timings. Every Tuesday is Junior championship. The track is smaller as compared to other go kart places. more info @feedbackHouston.
  • Fun place if you didn't have to wait forever. Told it would be 30 minutes for my kids to ride and an hour and a half later they finally get to go. Plan to spend half your day for 10 minutes of fun.
  • 35 dollars for two races doesn't sound to bad until they make you pay for an 8 dollar membership Ill never use again on top of tax. what i thought was going to be a 70 dollar trip for my girlfriend and I was just shy of 100 dollars. The staff was not anything special and food was insanely expensive. DO NOT GO HERE.
