  • It is a very nice family Park, I visited with my spouse, my two year old son, my mother and my grandmother and all we loved it. It has trails for walking, games for the kids, tables and parking is easy while it is in the center of the city. Sure I'll be back. Wonderful plan and very economical.

  • I visit this park at least twice a year. The park in general looks always well maintained. The only head ache about this park is to find a parking spot, other than that it looks beautiful at nights. I...  more »

  • A little oasis of green space preserved in the downtown area of Houston- just across from George R. Brown Convention Center. Has just about everything you need right there in the area. The Hilton & Marriott have really large properties that border the park- along with several other hotels, & a shopping mall. There is a nice stage which hosts free concerts every Thursday during the Spring & Summer- and also a restaurant & bar adjoining the stage. Really great place for a family outing on a nice day. Surely worth a visit.
  • Innovative and delightful family friendly. Staff always keep everything clean and tidy. The special programs such as the public art, music series, yoga/Zumba/exercise classes, young writers/poet slam, dancing are all high quality and encourage interactive participation. And the price is also outstanding - FREE! One of the best parks in the USA.
  • Refreshing urban park amidst the busy downtown! Two Stars - For the fantastic setup they have (The water bodies, the fountains, the lawns, eateries all give out a nice positive vibe if you take a stroll around the park). One Star - For the location. (Amazing to have a park in between the high rises). One Star - The events they have. Minus One - Does need some work on keeping the homeless away at some parts of the park. (I've seen people urinating in the pond :/)
  • One my favourite places in Houston. This place never lets me down. Go here during the weekends and there is always something going on in this park. This Christmas while I was visiting the city, took a stroll in the park and there was an ice ring there. Simply love this park at the heart of Houston.
  • Beautiful spot, surrounded by restaurants and things to do. Parking is a little dicey, but overall it's not awful. If you can't get a spot on the street you can find a garage in several different spots. I'm not sure but you may even be able to valet at the Grove restaurant. Might be for customers only though. Cool park, good crowd. Nice spot.
