  • I love discovery green, it is a great place to enjoy green areas in a family environment. It is surrounded by the Hilton Americas, on of the best hotels in town, as well as George Brown Convention Cen...  more »
  • The day I visited was very hot and dry, and the park seemed much smaller than I expected. There wasn't much there, probably won't go back.  more »
  • Took a stroll around the park after eating at the Grove. Nice a breezy day with an eclectic group of visitors and a pretty good live band. There was an anime convention at the GRB convention center so...  more »

  • They do free movie nights during the summer, they set up an ice skating rink in the winter. Well maintained, parking can be difficult unless you're willing to pay to park in their garage. They have a place on site you can grab stadium type of food from that is inexpensive but tasty. Bonus is the number of Pokestops they have.
  • Awesome space in the city that is must see for anyone visiting. Check the calendar before going and you're sure to find a not-to-miss class or event. Not that you'd be disappointed visiting on a whim -- always something cool going on. Don't forget to donate or buy some DG swag,....... everything is made possible almost entirely by the appreciation and kindness of others like us!
  • It is good to post in places nearby and on bus routes because these are public destinations for visitors or guests. Security and privacy should be reasons for option of route planning. Also emailing a route plan can also be good for trip planning.
  • There is ALWAYS something going on here, so check their website to keep up to date with what events they are hosting. The restrooms are public so they aren't the most sanitary. Otherwise great place to enjoy the day or evening.
  • Has fun little events all the time. A couple years ago they set up an inflatable movie screen and showed the original Ghostbusters movie; it was an amusing and fun crowd. The grassy picnic blanket hill slopes down enough to where everyone could see the screen without a blocked view.
