  • Great visit with a passionate guide which has many knowledge and anecdotes to convey! He does not count his time do not think that in 1 hour lap the lap top is made to count rather 3 h.

  • Our daughter was a missionary serving in this area. She was gone 1 1/2 years, so a year after she returned home, we took her back to the place she loved on a vacation. We had a fabulous time, and one of the things we did was to take a tour at the plantation. Loved it! What a blast back to Another time. I believe that enslaving anyone is wrong, but history teaches us, and thank goodness some of these old homes remain,
  • The tour guide was excellent and the plantation was incredible. So much amazing information and history.
  • We always go to the craft show in the spring and fall. I love going on tours of the house. Love having a piece of history in our home town.
  • The Arts and Crafts show at Southdown yesterday was wonderful. (March 24, 2018) They also have an Autumn one in November. Loved it!!! You must go.
  • Second time coming here, the company I work for rents a spot outside to hold our family day. Very nice place for a gathering
