  • I was here in spring and enjoyed lots of interesting wetland views. A few of the boardwalk trails were in need of repair but we were able to see much with the ones that were not out of commission. We ...  more »

  • I am an avid outdoorsman. This is a great hiking trail from beginners to experts. As a bonus, it is right next to the copper country humane society. You can stop in and walk dogs on the trails.
  • I love skiing and snowshoeing here in the winter. Trails are always well maintained. Ski rentals are cheap for students. My only (minor) complaint is the naming of the Gnome Loop. If it's going to be part of the Tolkien Trails, it should named after a Tolkien creature!
  • Fantastic trail system. World class Nordic ski trails
  • Worth a quick stop or an extension to a run to visit. It's connected to a beautiful trail system.
  • One of the best places to visit in Houghton. This place is awesome for sleding in the winter.
