  • Buy a hat! Really... just do it, I love mine and it's super comfortable. Havn't been in the museum uet but we'll be doing that this year!
  • Gangsters in Arkansas? WHO KNEW???? But they were here and thrived! This tour gives you a look into a little known piece of American history. The tour guides are great, and so is the gift shop. If you...  more »
  • Wife and I really enjoy it. We have learned a lot. If anyone is into history come to this place. You will Learn how it got started and by whom. It is not hard to find. Because it is on Central Avenue.

  • It's a guided tour involving a handful of rooms and videos explaining the minimal items in each room. It was a bit repetitive as the live guide would tell us a speech that almost exactly mirrored the video before playing each video played. They're were a few really interesting tidbits of information and the staff was really kind. I went in the spring time and it was very hot indoors while on this tour. The hattery was interesting but expensive so I looked but did not buy. They averaged about $100.
  • Not exactly what I expected for a "museum". The guest was scattered and easily distracted. Most of the information from the tour comes from a video you sit and watch. There is no time given to explore the room and artifacts (I mean...isn't that the whole point of a museum????) The dvds skipped. The only good things I can say were it was clean, and of what exhibits I did see - that were great, and I learned some very interesting facts. All in all, I don't think I will recommend it as a "must-do" in Hot Springs.
  • First I would say that our guide was quite lovely. However, as a whole this museum is trash. It is ridiculous to charge people $15 to shuffle from room to room watching videos. They really don't give you any time to look at anything. Its basically an hour long history class. Don't do it!!!
  • My husband loved it! Tons of info on the gangsters in Hot Springs in the 20s. Very informed and very accommodating for people who came last minute but wouldn't be able to come, back for a tour the next day.
  • Great museum situated right on central avenue. I learned a lot about Hot Springs I didn't know and so will you.
