  • Enjoy 2 days of horse racing every year. We tried going into the casino, but because of the smoky and crowded conditions, we left after 15 minutes.  more »
  • Oaklawn is a great place to go for horse racing! I would recommend going on Thursday, Friday or Sunday. Saturday is always packed. Staff is friendly and nice.  more »
  • We had a beautiful day at the races. Oaklawn has lotsa great food, but you've gotta have a Rueben, for sure. I highly recommend getting reserved seats for convenience. They are cheap and well worth it...  more »

  • Lots of fun on the video gaming. However, it seems these machines never pay out very much. It is definitely very nice inside. Must purchase drinks. They are not free, like at regular casinos.
  • We used free play from the hotel plus giving them our email. We got $20 free play and played in the thankfully smoke free section in the back. On my $1 I made $11.70. Not bad, except I would have lost $8.30 if I'd actually paid $21. Not a bad gaming place, but I miss all the things that make a casino a casino. No craps table, no dealers, no roulette tables, no hustle and bustle. Just a bunch of mostly older people sitting at machines pressing buttons. It might be nice for some, but it wasn't terribly fun for me.
  • Crowded, lack of parking and handicap parking is even worse. During racing season it's reserved for VIPs.
  • Very fun but machines are very tight they don't pay out very much
  • They do not give out wins often and the drinks are not free.i rarely win here and it gets boring after time
