  • We attended the AK Derby, at Oaklawn, in April of this year. What a great experience we had! The staff is super friendly & helpful, the food & spirits were great &, honestly, Oaklawn is the most beaut...  read more »

  • Everyone was friendly and there were several games and machines to choose from. Although, the parking lot seemed packed, there was plenty of room on the inside and several open machines to play on.
  • We used free play from the hotel plus giving them our email. We got $20 free play and played in the thankfully smoke free section in the back. On my $1 I made $11.70. Not bad, except I would have lost $8.30 if I'd actually paid $21. Not a bad gaming place, but I miss all the things that make a casino a casino. No craps table, no dealers, no roulette tables, no hustle and bustle. Just a bunch of mostly older people sitting at machines pressing buttons. It might be nice for some, but it wasn't terribly fun for me.
  • Might be a great place for horse racing but the "gaming room" casino sucks. Evidently the racing commission lets them set the machines anyway they want. After I did some checking the few people I did get to talk to could or would tell me how this machines where checked. The understanding I came to after talking to them, there was only three people that was regulating the race track gaming area and they received a print out once a month the information on the machines. this statement was made by her husband DON POLK
  • It ain't Vegas, but is as close as you can get in Arkansas. With no table games it left me wanting more, but the atmosphere is fun and energetic.
  • Won a ton of money playing blackjack as well as $78 on a random horse bet. The employees here are friendly and extremely down to earth
  • I used to win at Oaklawn in the gaming room before Mr Celler added on. Me and my woman used to work there in 2005 and we would play Yukon Willie after work and win. We used win at least sometimes, after the extension add on to the place, I notice we don't win no more like we used to.
