  • After running like mad around Hot Springs, I decided to slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature. I couldn't talk the kids out of the pool, so I went it alone. I hiked the 2 miles of Falls Branch trai...  more »

  • Lake Catherine State Park is so amazing!!! Love coming here. They have great trails around the lake or if you just want to have a little walk they have that also. I would come back again. Thank you for the Staff.
  • Great place with many options. Some trails easy and accessible to moderate and some challenging. The paved path along the creek was very nice, flat and provided numerous picture opportunities. 5/8th mile and I think wheelchair accessible. We only walked and did not camp but facilities were well attended to. Don't miss this park.
  • What a great place to camp. We were there on a warm weekend in February. The whole campground filled up but was still nice and quiet. I would have given 5 stars, but only one of the three shower houses was open due to the off season. And the rinse faucet at the dump station was still off for winter as well. Seems a full campground could have justified these being opened up and turned on.
  • Wonderful stay without reservations we were lucky to get 1 nighy, but our cabin was cozy and there was a dock right out the back door to fish. Enjoyed the trails. Would get 5 stars, but shower needed repairs badly. the knobs sprayed hot water during showers.
  • This is a beautiful and quiet place. Hiked on the falls branch trail to see the waterfall. Its a good 45 min walk but its worth it.
