  • I first visited Tussaudss as a newlywed back in 1981. The displays were old and dated even back then, and not much has changed. A lot of young people won't be familiar with many of the celebrities dep...  more »
  • We bought a combo Ride the Duck package, so the wax museum was included. I've been through the one in Branson and it's levels above this one in quality of figures and displays. However, my kids were e...  more »
  • We visited the wax museum and they have added a Southern Club gambling museum part to it. It seems to be just getting started and has potential. The wax museum is ok. I visited in the 80s and there we...  more »

  • I had a blast going through this museum due to the jokes and amusement my companion and I enjoyed due to the quality and conditions of the displays. Some of the figures are very well done. Others, not so much....Neither are the figures including any recently relevant individuals other than a young President Obama. The section about The Southern Club, what the building housing the museum was in the past, is interesting. All and all, this is a place to keep your sense of humor, go through once with funny friends, and continue having a great day. This museum is a fun way to initiate yourself and others to Hot Springs. Especially if you have a morbid sense of humor.
  • My daughter wanted to do this because we didn't go to the famous one in NYC. It was easily my least favorite thing on our 1400 mile road trip. I think we were in there for no more than 8 and a half minutes. I don't know how anyone could spend 45 minutes in there unless they read all of the gambling memorabilia. We didn't do the house of horrors portion as we had children in our group, but the rest was creepy enough. It's much darker than necessary. I think the intention is to highlight the wax figures, but it means blind corners and black curtains in total darkness at times. The only reason I gave two stars was because the fairy tale section at the end slightly redeemed the rest. But yes, very old, very dusty, very dark. As someone else said.... save your money for the 4D movie next door. It was far more entertaining even for the 5 minutes it lasted.
  • It's not bad if you're into this sort of thing. The statues were very realistic, although there weren't a terribly large amount of them.
  • Awesome. Loved it. Must see. History buff. Cross off my bucked list.
  • My daughter gave you five stars she really enjoyed it i gotta go back and see the haunted area cause she did not want to go anywhere near it
