Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web
Built to harness the healing power of hot springs, some of Bathhouse Row sits directly atop natural mineral waters. The hot springs here do not have the traditional sulphur smell, making them different from most mineral baths. Eight Neoclassical, Italianate, and Renaissance Revival bathhouses were built over the mineral waters along a promenade in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Some of the bathhouses have landscaped gardens and fountains. Appointments are welcome at some of the bathhouses, while others only accept walk-ins. You can book traditional spa services at the historical baths as well.
