Bathhouse Row, Hot Springs

(4.4/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Built to harness the healing power of hot springs, some of Bathhouse Row sits directly atop natural mineral waters. The hot springs here do not have the traditional sulphur smell, making them different from most mineral baths. Eight Neoclassical, Italianate, and Renaissance Revival bathhouses were built over the mineral waters along a promenade in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Some of the bathhouses have landscaped gardens and fountains. Appointments are welcome at some of the bathhouses, while others only accept walk-ins. You can book traditional spa services at the historical baths as well. Plan your visit to Bathhouse Row and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Hot Springs travel itinerary planner.

  • At the very least make a reservation for a soak and a steam. You will be relaxed and refreshed. There really is something about the water.  more »
  • Like a walk back in time. Beautiful Art Deco and historical buildings house the bath houses of the past. I love that it is located in the down town area where you can eat, shop and stroll.  more »
  • Bathhouse Row is a nice romantic stroll. The placards were very informative. My husband and I were walking around at 7 am and there was hardly anyone else out, except for runners.  more »
