  • Petting and feeding the Kangaroos was incredible. Pet the tiny goats too! Bird feeding area was great too. Be warned the birds will fly right at you to get the nectar (attack is to strong of a word, t...  more »
  • A great day petting and feeding amazing animals and birds. If you have ever wanted to feed and pet a kangaroo, this place is a must (about an hour out of Louisville). The only real complaint is that m...  more »
  • We thoughts this was a fun adventure. Our son loved feeding the kangaroos and being able to pet them. Along with feeding the birds. The cave tour was beautiful! Recommend to go first thing in the morn...  more »
  • My husband and I had the best time at this zoo today! We rented a golf cart which was well worth it on a hot day like today. We saw lots of birds, goats, sheep, kangaroos, and more! The thing that is so great about this place is how interactive you are able to be with the animals. We loved being able to feed the birds as they landed on us and hanging out with the kangaroos. Such a fun environment for everyone!
  • My fiance and I were looking for fun things to do with my two younger boys while on Summer Vacation and happened to find a Groupon for four tickets to Kentucky Down Under. The main draw of this place is the kangaroos.. I mean come on..a kangaroo petting zoo..that sounded like a great day, and it didn't disappoint. Feed is available to purchase and they come right up to you. There is also a bird area that you can go in and feed
  • Very enjoyable for parents and children alike, having much to do in various avenues. From petting kangaroos to caving to eating fudge. I would warn that small children be watched carefully, especially in the petting zoo area. Despite being very tame, some of the animals could easily hurt someone if they wanted to. The staff is very competent, and enjoyable to listen to.
  • I'm sure it would have been amazing had they let us in. Called every number we could find to verify our stop on the way but no answer?? The website says they close at 6pm we arrived at 4:20 (we were traveling) & we told they stopped taking admissions to park an hour before. THAT would be a great thing to add to the hours posted all over online that say 6pm cst! Then we would have known not to stop before rushing & running just to get there in time...bummed :(
  • This place is AMAZING and WELL worth the money! Absolutely in love, very nice people (including the free roaming dogs) everything is so pretty. Kangaroos were friendly and so soft! Would DEFIANTLY go again
