  • The Riverchase Galleria Mall in Birmingham is the biggest and best mall in Birmingham to shop and enjoy. It is located 1 mile south of I-459 on Old US Highway 31 to Montgomery. I was staying at the Hy...  read more »

  • Really enjoyed walking around for a couple of hours... Good selection of shops. Plenty of seating areas -we bought ice cream cones and sat and observed the crowd!
  • I absolutely loved this mall/galleria!! The inside is so beautiful, and so is the outside! There's every store you could think of, and they're pretty good sized stores. There's an amazing food court, with a Chick-fil-A, McDonalds, Subway, Villa (pizzeria), and more... There's 2 or 3 levels, plus a very nice hotel attached to it. Best mall I've ever been to, with a beautiful inside, great restaurants and vendors/stores,----and everything about it is great!
  • Hey, it's a mall. Perhaps the only serious mall in Alabama. Something that concerned me however, is after the Orlando terror attack, someone pulled a fire alarm. The alarms had audio that played and said "there has been an emergency, please evacuate." Not wanting to have to get into a battle with someone who hates bacon, I decided that my fiance and myself would make an exit from the place, and get away ASAP. Upon getting away, I checked Twitter, Facebook for the Galleria. Nothing. No explanation. It was not until a day later that someone from the media confirmed it was a false alarm. However, MOST large establishments would have had someone putting some kind of public info out there. In the case of most colleges, getting info via any manner possible, like social media, is very important in a terrorist/shooter situation. I won't say that guns are the boogieman (because guns protect too), yet I will say that I would have appreciated it if I had piece of mind from the Galleria for communications. In short, when you have an evacuation of the Galleria, at least take 5 seconds to put a short tweet out saying "Everything's cool." P.S. I keep seeing youtube vids of abandoned malls, because open-air strip malls like the Summit on 280 are getting more popular. I have no clue why, as I prefer indoor..... but.... come on. Be better than this. I know you can.
  • I took my daughter there she is 5 . She was so excited lol . I was too the place is amazing. Like a kid in a candy store
  • Still the only place you can shop in air conditned comfort in a thunderstorm. The new food court set up is much more attractive and comfortable.
  • Great Shopping Macy's, Von Maur, Belk, Sears, and JCPenney.
