  • I often patronize this winery however, always notice the snobbery of the staff. It's too bad because the wine and the atmosphere are fantastic.  more »

  • Comfortable relaxing atmosphere. Good wines and nice antipasto plate. A great way to relax and visit with good friends and family. Very dog friendly.
  • Friendly, accommodating staff and delicious wine. We enjoyed the outdoor seating with portable heaters and lap blankets. Very pretty setting (no surprise). I will go back.
  • What a great day of wine tasting in hood river! The "fruit loop" as it's deemed has many amazing winery's and stops to cherish all with the breathtaking valley view of mount hood to the south. This place in particular has a 1st generation Italian raising and making wine the way he learned in Italy. They are heavy and deep wines rich with the taste of culture and the local influences of Oregon rain and sun. This place is much more laid back than some on the loop. You can sit and enjoy the tasting lineup in your own cozy outdoor furniture while they check up on your to refill once in a while. Cheese and meat platters available and even their own bottled Italian olive oil from the mother land. Go enjoy a day of roaming the countryside and take in what local wine has to offer!
  • Great people, great atmosphere and the Sangiovese is top notch!
  • We have been members of Marchesi for 5 years and its one of my favorite life decisions! It is no wonder that they continue to won best winery in the Gorgev year after year. They allow pets on their beautiful patio and serve antipasto platters with their exquisite Italian styled wine. Franco, the winemaker, makes an incredible Barbera, Primitivo, Sangiovese, and Nebbiolo. If you're in the Gorge and you miss this winery you'll never know what you've missed.
