Well I did enter the address in the rental car, made in Japan consulate prior to check in to the eleven. Eventually went to the West Road on the north side of the Consulate, was next. With free parking. From there walking down (South), go in. See small waterfalls and bridges across creeks and little walk across, the rest and so can be used per meal and children's playground. Small gardens but also here that Hawaii or as quiet. The sound of the car sound a bit too much South. Food can be purchased at seven-eleven.

Nice walking path. Nice creek. Few homeless hanging out but they don't bother you

it didn't seem like a real garden to me, and there's graffiti in the garden. Maybe, I'm just being picky, but it seemed like a park, more so than a garden. The picture on the Google page is not the real picture of the place.... it fools people.

Nice little park with great potential. Needs to be better maintained (trash, over grown weeds, etc.) And bathrooms should be kept open during park hours.

Not much of anything to explore or discover, disappointing in regards of natural finding.

The description needs to be clearer. No roads are shown leading to the gardens. Instead, we see the star directly on Nu'uanu stream. Are people expected to walk on water?

Where to stay in Honolulu

Most of Honolulu's luxury hotels and oceanfront condos are located in Waikiki, the city's most popular neighborhood. Staying in this area keeps you within walking distance of one of the world's finest beaches, but it also means paying a bundle for your room and board. To avoid high rates and big crowds, consider the budget hotels outside Waikiki's busiest areas. Smaller hotels just a short drive from the city's beaches offer comfortable rooms and good food at a fraction of the price of their Waikiki equivalents.
