  • Many events are held at their ballroom. Plenty of parking. Some may find it easier to hold their next meeting here than Waikiki.
  • Saw some amazing things here!
  • FOOD: Lots of oishii (delicious) food. Personal favorites were the grilled mochi with nori and fresh andagi that we always get every year. The trick is to go early to avoid the lines. This year we went not that long after the event started and encountered no lines. PARKING: This year because of construction at the parking lot near the UH Law Library they moved the shuttle pick up to near the Clarence T.C. Ching Field with parking at UH parking structure free during the event that day. That made parking a breeze with a lot of available parking and handicap parking stalls. Plus there were at least 4 buses that were shuttling people back and forth. Definitely will be back next year!!
  • The thrift shop is a great place to find collector items.
  • Great flea market type sales on weekends. Martial arts kendo classes are interesting.
