  • Wow, this is a spectacular resort. It literally is a village, with its built in shopping venues as well as restaurants, beach front lagoon. The view of the ocean is magnificent. It was indeed a vacation location. A bit on the pricey side but well worth the cost. We had a really good times with family and friends there.
  • If you're going there to be on the beach this is the place. We went snorkeling, walked the beach at night, made some sand castles and had an awesome breakfast and lunch right at the beach. The fireworks were very exciting. Would go again. The service was good and the room was nice. Our favorite was definitely the beach! They had lots of shopping centers and different dining options all within walking distance, hints the village.
  • Still my favorite place to stay in Honolulu. Spent another birthday here this past July, and had such a wonderful & relaxing time. Another feature I discovered during my most recent visit, is that they have movie nights on their lawns from time to time. (As I was passing through I saw E.T & then Finding Nemo on the screen) Pretty cool for kids & families to enjoy together. :)
  • We went by the picture and there is a lagoon and ocean view rooms available. When we got there, the property is huge and they put us in the very last tower. No view to the ocean and there was a good 10 minute walk to our room. There was a lot of construction going on and the noise level as you open the balcony door was too much. We asked the front desk to move us and they did, to a way much older room (it was smelly on top of everything). It was supposed to be a great vacation, but the accommodations were horrible. We made it a point to visit other hotels, so on our return we go somewhere else. The front desk told us that their ocean view rooms are for seasonal attendees (like time shares). The other ocean rooms available book 6-8 months in advance. The problem I found is that when you book it says that most rooms have an excellent view, we paid for ocean view and did not get it. Very disappointed. The pool was always overcrowded. We never were able to lay down and we were there 6 days. It was not during a holiday our stay, that is what was uncomfortable. Another thing I noticed was that the front desk was more interested in selling you time shares or the hotel card to earn points instead of addressing your concerns.
